The barbera grapes for this distinctive wine are sourced from vineyards in the heart of the production zone.
Winemaking is traditional, with a 10-day maceration on the skins and a controlled fermentation at 25-28°C.
Malolactic fermentation immediately follows in steel, and the wine is then given a brief bottle ageing.
