Description
Colour: Deep ruby red
Bouquet: Generous and emphatic, releasing fragrances of almond and violets
Palate: Dry, youthful, and full-flavoured; fruity, with a velvety texture
The dolcetto grape is a typical red variety.
Winemaking is traditional, with 10 days of maceration and fermentation at about 28°C, followed immediately by malolactic fermentation. The wine is then given a brief bottle ageing.
