Nebbiolo d’Alba Superiore DOC “Valeirole”
Our Nebbiolo Valeirole is an assemblage of nebbiolo grapes, which grown in silica-rich soils can yield wines impressive both for their elegance and aromas.
Vinification is traditional in style, with 15 days’ maceration on skins at a temperature of 28-30°C. This is followed by malolactic fermentation and 6 months of ageing in oak barrels.
The wine then spends several more months in the bottle to reach the final balance between the aromas and the imposing structure.
